The next virtual round table on the subject of „The UN Trust Fund to End Violence against Women“ will take place on Monday, January 25, 2021 at 6:00 p.m. (UTC+1) as a Zoom video conference.
We are very pleased to be able to welcome Adina Wolf (Resource Mobilization and Reporting Specialist, UN Trust Fund to End Violence against Women, UN Women) as an expert.
The UN Trust Fund to End Violence against Women (UN Trust Fund) was established in 1996 by the UN General Assembly resolution 50/166 and is managed by UN Women. Since its creation, the UN Trust Fund had awarded grants to initiatives in 140 countries and territories, to prevent and eradicate violence against women. The projects it has funded focus on preventing violence, implementing laws and policies to address and eliminate violence against women and girls, and improving access to essential services for survivors. The UN Trust Fund funds life-changing initiatives for women and girls around the world.
Adina Wolf joined the UN Trust Fund in 2014 and is working as a specialist in the field of resource mobilization and reporting. In addition to the core task of raising funds and reporting on project results, her work also includes on-site visits of the supported projects.
