For 25 years, the UN Trust Fund to End Violence against Women (UN Trust Fund) has leveraged its unique position between Governments, UN agencies and civil society and women’s rights organizations to work towards a future free of violence for women and girls globally. A gender equality milestone in the history of the UN General Assembly, since its establishment in 1996, the UN Trust Fund has expanded its work in scope and in depth to ensure no woman or girl is left behind. This year, as we reach 25 years, we invite you to join us in commemorating this 25-year long journey of grant-giving with a number of #UNTF25 activities, to continue the support to women and girls around the world.
